How do I record my screen on any phone?
Use the built-in screen recorder on iPhone or Android, choose whether to include microphone audio, and protect notifications and storage before you begin.
Screen recording is the fastest way to show a bug, save a how-to, or explain a setting once instead of repeating yourself. On iPhone, open Control Center and tap the circle-within-a-circle record button; add it first in Settings > Control Center if it is missing, and press and hold it to choose microphone audio. On a Pixel or Samsung phone, swipe down twice, tap Screen record, then choose audio and whether visible touch marks should appear. iPhone recordings land in Photos; Android recordings usually go to the gallery or Photos folder.
Turn on Do Not Disturb before recording, keep clips short to protect storage, and narrate in a quiet room with the microphone enabled.
